Wegner Custom Furniture is an award winning custom furniture company that has been helping home owners, designers and custom home builders bring their custom furniture vision to life since 2015. We pride ourselves on exceeding a customers expectations. One of the best things a customer can say is, “You nailed it! It turned out better than I expected!” And we’ve heard that numerous times from customers! One of the best things is when a customer is so happy that they actually give me a hug!!
Crafting Custom Furniture That Surpasses Expectations
Growing up in small town Wisconsin, owner Joe Wegner developed the values of hard work, ethics and creativity and always knew that he wanted to own his own business. With a love for sports and playing competitive sports from the age of 6 through college and having a degree in Exercise and Sports Science, he always thought his business would be something involving sports and athletes. He never envisioned having a custom furniture business, but his creativity and love of working with wood, which developed in his senior year of high school when he took 2 semesters of woods class, accidentally led him to his calling.
From Backyard Project to Beloved Craft
Wegner Custom Furniture, LLC began in Joe’s backyard in Huntington Beach California when he needed a new bed. Not liking what he was seeing and having some tools left over from his kitchen and bathroom remodel days, he decided to build a bed. When that turned out good, he decided to build a new dining room table and bench. Family and friends saw his new furniture and suggested that he try selling some of his work. So, he put a few photos on Craigslist and before he knew it he was getting orders and the rest is history!
Wegner Custom Furniture has been in the beautiful mountain community of Conifer, Colorado since February of 2017 and expanded to the Big Sky Montana area in August of 2024. Wegner Custom Furniture has built and delivered custom pieces throughout the state of Colorado and also has pieces in Idaho, Wisconsin, Montana, Minnesota, California, Maryland, Texas and New Mexico.
